    In der Gegenwartssprache wächst die Neigung, Sätze mit scheinbar einfacher Grundform und einer Fülle von nominalen Gliedern zu bilden, mögliche Prädikationen werden durch substantivisch-adjektivische Gruppen repräsentiert. […] Die Komprimierung des Sachverhaltes und dessen syntaktische Darstellung im Text können wir als Informationsverdichtung bezeichnen. […] Die Verdichtung der Informationen macht sich am deutlichsten durch die Reduktion komplexer hypotaktischer Satzkonstruktionen bemerkbar […], wobei im Nominalstil die Parataxe anstelle der Hypotaxe überwiegt.

    Im Folgenden wird der Begriff "Informationskondensierung" näher erörtert, der Sprachbereich der Wirtschaft im Sinne vertikaler Gliederung klassifiziert und zusammenhängende Arbeitshypothesen vorgestellt. Den letzten Teil bildet eine Analyse der Textstruktur und des Satzbaus auf einzelnen Ebenen hinsichtlich der vertikalen Gliederung des Sprachbereichs der Wirtschaft, wobei ein möglicher Zusammenhang zwischen der Satzstruktur und der Informationskondensierung angenommen wird.

    Tento článek tématicky navazuje na přìspěvek "Nominalizačnì tendence v jazyce ekonomiky" v časopise Studia Germanistica 3, přičemņ podává odpovědi na otázky spjaté s tehdy vznikajìcì disertačnì pracì s názvem "Grammatische Mittel der Informationskondensierung in Wirtschaftstexten". V článku je zmìněna souvislost mezi mìrou abstrakce a jazykovou kondenzacì a také pragmatické faktory, které ovlivņujì jejì výskyt v odborném textu. Ve druhé části jsou souhrnně uvedeny výsledky empirické analýzy v oblasti infinitivnìch konstrukcì. Pozornost je věnována zejména faktorům, které majì vliv na jejich uņitì v textu oproti konkurenčnìm vedlejńìm větám. This article is thematically related to the study "Nominalizing tendencies in the language of economy" in Studia Germanistica 3; it responds to questions connected with research for the doctoral dissertation "Grammatische Mittel der Informationskondensierung in Wirtschaftstexten". The article examines the connection between the level of abstraction and linguistic condensation together with pragmatic factors affecting these features in professional texts. The second part of the study presents the results of an empirical analysis of infinitive constructions. The author focuses particularly on factors influencing the use of these constructions in texts, as opposed to competing structures – subordinate clauses.

    Příspěvek pojednává o výrazových prostředcích emocí uţitých v internetových komentářích, které reflektují jedno z nejvýznamnějších fotbalových utkání mistrovství světa roku 2010 – semifinále mezi Německem a Španělskem. Fotbal skýtá ohromný emoční potenciál, který přímo ovlivņuje textovou produkci. V komentářích je jednoznačně patrná polarita emocí. Intenzivní emoční proţitek se v korpusu projevuje velkou variabilitou jazykových prostředků, z nichţ nejčastější jsou zejména lexikální prostředky a také rétorické figury, zejména pak metafory. Internetová komunikace pak nabízí další, nonverbální prostředky vyjádření emocí, které jsou typické pro tzv. cyberslang. This paper examines means of expressing emotions in internet commentaries on one of the most important football matches of the World Cup 2010 – the semi-final between Germany and Spain. Football contains enormous emotional potential which directly influences text production. The commentaries clearly reveal a polarity of emotions. In the corpus, intensive emotional experiences are manifested in a wide variability of linguistic means, of which the most frequent are lexical means and rhetorical figures, especially metaphors. Internet communication also offers non-verbal means of expressing emotion that are typical of so-called cyberslang.

    This paper addresses the means of expressing emotions in internet discussion forums focusing on issues of death and dying; these issues are to a large extent considered taboo in society. The death of a loved one is a highly intense emotional experience. The analysis takes into account the verbal and non-verbal means of expressing grief, various levels of emotionality, and also the cognitive concepts forming the basis of metaphorical expressions that are closely connected with death and dying.
