    Die Sprache ist ein variables, sich ständig entwickelndes Phänomen, weshalb es schwierig ist, eine endgültige Norm festzusetzen. Noch schwieriger kann es sein, wenn man eine Fremdsprache mit ihren oft schwankenden Normen erlernen möchte und dabei keine Möglichkeit hat, sich bei der Kommunikation auf seine sprachlichen, in der Kindheit erworbenen Erfahrungen zu verlassen wie Muttersprachler/innen. Die Fremdsprachenlerner sind also davon abhängig, was alles ihnen von der jeweiligen Sprache präsentiert wird. Damit wird umso mehr Verantwortung in die Hand der Lehrer/innen und Lehrwerksentwickler/innen gelegt, denn sie entscheiden, welche Aspekte der Sprache und welche 'Norm' die Schüler/innen kennen lernen. Im Beitrag wird deswegen der Frage nachgegangen, wie sich Lehrwerke am Beispiel 'Deutsch als Fremdsprache' mit sprachlichen Normen und den Abweichungen von der sprachlichen Norm bzw. Besonderheiten der Sprache auseinandersetzen. Die Aufmerksamkeit konzentriert sich vor allem auf drei Aspekte dieser Problematik: Ausgewählte Typen von Abweichungen und Unregelmäßigkeiten der Sprache aus den Bereichen Grammatik, Wortschatz und Phonetik, Art und Weise von deren Präsentationen aus der Perspektive der Verständlichkeit und deren Bewertung als zentral oder als abweichend bzw. peripher. Nach diesem Kriterium werden Unterschiede zwischen neueren und älteren Lehrwerken und zwischen Lehrwerken deutscher und tschechischer Autor/innen thematisiert. Learning a foreign language should not just mean learning the standard codified form of the language, but also acquiring knowledge of the living language from all possible perspectives - including various deviations from the norm, non-standard forms, and tendencies in the language's development. Textbooks play an important role in this process, though not the only role. They represent a norm of sorts for teachers, indicating which elements of the language they should present to their students. This research into German as a foreign language focused on the extent to which textbooks incorporate these elements of the language and how these elements are presented in terms of comprehensibility. Four textbooks were analyzed; all are designed for beginners at secondary school level. The textbooks were selected in order to represent various publishers and various years of publication, and to include both monolingual textbooks (written only in German) and bilingual textbooks (including passages in Czech). A relatively broad concept of 'norm' was applied in the analysis. Besides exploring the presentation of deviations from the norm, the analysis of selected examples showed how the textbooks explain irregularities in the language, which in a sense also represent a form of deviation from the 'norm' that is communicated to beginners at the outset. The analysis also observed which elements of a selected topic were included in the textbook and which were omitted - i.e. what is considered central and what is considered peripheral for the given topic and the given level of students' proficiency. The textbooks were then compared with each other in terms of the above-listed parameters. The analysis demonstrated that all the textbooks contain deviations from the linguistic norm on the levels of phonology, morphology, syntax and lexicology. The majority of these deviations are presented in an implicit manner, without specific explanations. The analysis revealed a high degree of variability in the presentation of linguistic irregularities and exceptions to rules, as well as differences in how topics are divided into central and peripheral aspects. However, no clear and consistent differences were found among different types of textbooks; it is only possible to state that the older textbooks tend to favour a more systematic approach, while the newer ones prefer a functional approach. The analysis presents a basic insight into the issues investigated; deeper and more detailed research will be necessary in order to produce more objective conclusions.

Anschließend beschreibt er, wie man im Literatur- bzw. Kulturunterricht anhand des Themas "Holocaust" mit diesem Modell operieren kann.

    Translation activity played a significant role in the 18th century in terms of a westernization and modernization of the Ottoman State. It was very influential in shaping political and scientific ideas as well as in spreading the ideas of the enlightenment age of the Ottoman period. These developments continued during the foundation years of Republic of Turkey. Those "secret heroes", translators, are less well known than the contributions they made to Turkish literature. Well, who were those translators? Whose works were translated? From which languages were they translated and when were they published and by which publishing firms? This lexicon Türkçe Çevirmenler Sözlüğü, we aim to compile lists of translators who enriched Turkish literature by means of translation, following the example of other lexicons. The idea of "Türkçe Çeviriler Bibliyografyası" (Bibliography of Turkish Translations) has been also developed within the context of the GIP (Germanistische Institutspartnerschaft) partnership between Ege University and Johannes Gutenberg University. The project began with a lengthy search for a suitable methodology. The resources we decided to use for identifying works translated into Turkish are the National Collective Catalogue database of TUBITAK and ULAKBIM as well as the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Libraries and Publications that contain the records of, among others, Ege University Library, Hacettepe University Library, Istanbul University Library, Boğazici University Library and National Library. For this lexicon, the language and literary works, which were printed in Latin alphabet and translated into Turkish from the early years of the Republic to the year 2016, were examined in terms of literary genres such as prose, verse and theater, and the records of 18.741 translated works and 6.006 translators were identified. Çeviri faaliyeti, 18. yüzyılda Osmanlı Devleti'nin batılılaşması ve modernleşmesinde önemli bir yere sahipti. Bu amaca yönelik olarak çeviri eylemi, Osmanlı döneminde aydınlanma çağındaki fikirlerin yayılması ile birlikte siyasal ve bilimsel fikirlerin yerleşmesinde de çok etkili olmuştur. Bu durum Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kuruluş yıllarında da devam etmiştir. Bu çeviri faaliyetini gerçekleştiren "gizli kahramanlar", yani çevirmenler, Türk diline ve edebiyatına yaptıkları katkılara nazaran pek tanınmazlar ve bilinmezler. Peki, bu çevirmenler kimlerdi? Kimlerin eserleri hangi dilden ve ne zaman çevrilip, hangi yayınevleri tarafından yayımlanmıştır? Türkçe Çevirmenler Sözlüğü'nde Türk edebiyatına katkıda bulunan ve Türk edebiyatının çeviri yoluyla zenginleşmesinde katkı sağlayan çevirmenlerin listelerini oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Ege Üniversitesi ile Johannes Gutenberg Üniversitesi Germersheim-Mainz (Almanya) mütercim tercümanlık bölümlerinin ortak yürüttükleri GIP (Germanistische Institutspartnerschaft) projesi bağlamında Türkçe Çeviriler Bibliyografyası kitap çalışması fikri de ortaya çıkmıştır. Uzun bir yöntem arayışından sonra başta Ege Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi, İstanbul Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi ve Milli Kütüphane kayıtlarını barındıran ve T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Kütüphaneler ve Yayımlar Genel Müdürlüğü ve TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM'in Ulusal Toplu Katalog veri tabanından yararlanılarak yabancı dilden Türkçeye aktarılan eserler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarından 2016 yılına kadar Türkçeye aktarılan dil ve edebiyatların nesir, nazım ve tiyatro gibi edebi türlerine göre çevirileri incelenmiştir. Toplam 18.741 eser ve 6.006 çevirmen kaydına ulaşılmıştır.

    Some students evidently find it difficult to paraphrase the content of a text (particularly a specialist or professional text) after reading it. This inability may have a negative impact on their performance when writing Bachelor theses or when studying in general. This paper therefore addresses the question of how to help students of German develop the important competency of paraphrasing and summarizing the content of texts. The starting point was a small-scale research project conducted among students at the Department of German Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ostrava; the results of the research were analyzed to identify the main problems encountered by students when carrying out these tasks. This analysis forms the basis for an overview of strategies and methods which can be practised by students when paraphrasing and summarizing the content of texts. The article systematizes the key processes and operations for paraphrasing and summarizing with reference to the theoretical literature. The article seeks to contribute to the discussion of a broad range of methods that can be used to help improve the quality of foreign language studies and the study of specialist and professional language
