    El Romanticismo alemán se sirvió del drama con menos frecuencia y con menos éxito que los movimientos estéticos que lo precedieron. Pero existió un teatro romántico alemán y llegó a desarrollar una serie de características distintivas. En la medida en que estas características se analizan a la luz del programa del Romanticismo mismo, se pueden ver con algo más de claridad algunas de las posibles razones por las cuales los románticos alemanes no solo no produjeron gran cantidad de obras teatrales sino que tampoco encontraron en el teatro un vehículo apropiado para parte importante de su propuesta. El objetivo del presente artículo es llevar a cabo dicho análisis y reflexionar en torno a la naturaleza del drama alemán del Romanticismo y las razones de su desarrollo comparativamente menor. German Romanticism made use of drama less frequently and less successfully than the aesthetic movements that preceded it. However, there was a German Romantic theater, and it developed a number of distinctive characteristics. As these features are analyzed in the light of the Romantic program itself, one can see with rather greater clarity some of the possible reasons why the German Romantics not only failed to produce a large number of plays, but also did not find in drama an appropriate vehicle for an important part of their agenda. This paper carries out such an analysis and reflects on the nature of German Romantic drama and the reasons for its comparatively minor development.

    El presente artículo propone estudiar a una figura destacada del movimiento expresionista alemán poco conocido en lengua española: Georg Heym. Notorio especialmente por su poesía y la fuerte influencia que ejerció en el desarrollo de la lírica en la Alemania del siglo XX, el estudio busca explorar la faceta menos conocida del autor: sus 'Novellen'. A través de este género, el autor radicaliza sus exploraciones estéticas, al mismo tiempo que expone las formaciones ideológicas de la burguesía del Imperio Alemán. En este sentido, el presente trabajo también ofrece una lectura política y las consecuencias de la creación artística expresionista en la configuración espiritual del nacionalsocialismo y la identidad alemana. Para indagar a profundidad dichas relaciones entre filosofía, política y literatura en la Alemania guillermina, se toma en consideración una selección de las 'Novellen' más emblemáticas del autor. Teniendo en cuenta esto, el artículo presenta una lectura renovada de un autor fundamental en la historia de la literatura alemana. This article proposes to study a prominent figure of the German expressionist movement little known in Spanish: Georg Heym. Notorious especially for his poetry and the strong influence that it exercised on the development of lyrics in 20th-century Germany, the study seeks to explore the author's lesser-known strand: his 'Novellen'. Through this genre, the author radicalizes his aesthetic explorations, at the same time that he exposes the ideological formations of the bourgeoisie of the German Empire. In this sense, the present work offers also a political reading and the consequences of expressionist artistic creation in the spiritual configuration of National Socialism and the German identity. To investigate in depth these relations between philosophy, politics and literature in Wilhelmine Germany, a selection of the author's most emblematic 'Novellen' is taken into consideration. With this in mind, the article presents a renewed reading of a fundamental author in the history of German literature.

    El presente artículo explora una novela olvidada en la producción literaria de Hans Fallada: "Der Alpdruck". Esta novela, testimonio del sufrimiento y la esperanza de la sociedad alemana en los primeros años posteriores a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, indaga en la herencia del nacionalsocialismo en la vida individual y colectiva. Conceptos centrales como el arraigo, la identidad y el lenguaje se transforman en elementos centrales para comprender las consecuencias del terror político y el dolor de una existencia desprovista de horizontes afectivos y reflexivos. El artículo se detiene en dichos conceptos tomando algunos capítulos de la novela para evidenciar la permanencia del nacionalsocialismo en diversos aspectos de los sujetos y el intento de lidiar con dicha herencia para pensar Alemania. This article explores a forgotten novel in Hans Fallada's literary production: "Der Alpdruck". This novel, testimony of the suffering and hope of German society in the first years after World War II, explores the heritage of National Socialism in individual and collective life. Central concepts such as roots, identity and language become central elements to understand the consequences of political terror and the pain of an existence devoid of affective and reflective horizons. The article dwells on these concepts, analyzing some chapters of the novel to demonstrate the permanence of National Socialism in various aspects of the subjects, and the attempt to deal with this heritage in order to think Germany.

    Este artículo presenta y analiza ejemplos de las principales formas de la literatura digital que recurre a las posibilidades de la programación. Los hipertextos provocan en el lector una búsqueda por caminos en estructuras no lineales; la poesía cinética visual anima letras y textos; las instalaciones multimedia combinan texto, imágenes o sonido; los generadores de textos intentan simular el proceso creativo de la escritura humana; los juegos de video literarios provocan la pregunta por la diferencia entre leer y jugar; finalmente, la poesía de código computacional mezcla el lenguaje natural con el código de la computadora. La literatura digital es altamente auto-reflexiva y, así, pone a debate aspectos vinculados con la lectura y la escritura, incluso la frontera entre textos literarios y pragmáticos, así como la relación de la literatura con las bellas artes y la música. Asimismo los textos que se generaron cinética o aleatoriamente exploran los mecanismos de la creación de significación al tiempo que la performatividad y la interactividad de la literatura digital llama la atención al papel del lectorusuario en el proceso de la comunicación literaria. This article presents and analyzes examples of the main forms of digital literature that employ the possibilities of programming. Hypertexts make the reader search for a path through a non-linear textual structure; kinetic visual poetry sets letters and texts in motion; multimedia installations combine text, pictures and/or audio; text generators try to simulate the creative process of human writing; literary computer games raise the question of the difference between reading and gaming; finally, program code poetry mingles natural language and computer code. Digital literature is highly self-reflexive, questioning all aspects of reading and writing, including the borders between literary and pragmatic texts, and the relation between the fine arts and music. Moreover, unstable kinetic and randomly created texts explore the mechanisms of the creation of meaning, whereas the performativity and interactivity of digital literature draw attention to the role the reader/user plays in the process of literary communication.

    The study "Two poems of Friedrich Hölderlin" is Walter Benjamin's first major critical work. Regarding this essay, the interpreters have been so far concerned with Benjamin's more general thesis and influences, without taking further acknowledgement of the heterodox twists active on his exegetical strategies. But, beyond the veil of the essay's methodological principles, it is possible to recognize the roots of a modern approach to Hölderlin's poetics, where the classical idealistic motives are replaced with a more sensual and materialist reading. Such turn would respond to the presence of early intuitions that eventually will become significant critical axes in Benjamin's thought. El estudio "Zwei Gedichte von Friedrich Hölderlin" es el primer ensayo crítico de Walter Benjamin. Respecto de dicho ensayo, los intérpretes se han concentrado en sus tesis e influencias más generales, sin reconocer por otro lado ciertos giros heterodoxos presentes en su lectura de Hölderlin. Así, tras el velo de sus postulados crítico-metodológicos, es possible reconocer un abordaje moderno de la poética hölderliniana, donde los motivos filosóficoidealistas aparecen desplazados por una lectura sensual y materialista. Dicho giro obedece a la presencia de intuiciones que más tarde constituirán los ejes fundamentales del pensamiento benjaminiano.
