    À la différence des tendances actuelles de l'analyse du discours médiatique, majoritairement tournée vers une presse du XXIe siècle nationale, cette thèse vise un titre régional du XIXe siècle : Le Petit Comtois (1883-1944). Plongeant ses racines dans différents terreaux de recherche, à savoir la linguistique de corpus, l'analyse du discours du côté de l'histoire (Guilhaumou, Maldidier, Robin), la statistique textuelle (Lebart, Salem) et l'analyse textuelle du discours (Adam &Heidmann), cette thèse interroge les apports d'une nouvelle philologie numérique ( Rastier ; Viprey) se fixant pour programme de renforcer l'accès aux matérialités discursives. Cette thèse articule ainsi deux axes de recherche complémentaires : d'une part, les conditions de la constitution d'une base de données textuelles finement établies, contrôlées et normalisées selon les recommandations XML-TEI, visant à favoriser le renouveau des lectures interdisciplinaires de la presse régionale de la Troisième République. Il s'agit, ce faisant, de proposer des pistes méthodologiques en vue de la levée des obstacles techniques pesant sur l'acquisition et le partage de grands volumes de données textuelles, dont dépendent la confrontation heuristique des points de vue, des outils et des méthodes des sciences des textes. D'autre part, notre objectif est d'apporter un éclairage sur le discours du Petit Comtois (1883-1903) à partir d'un corpus de 5,5 millions de mots en faisant dialoguer diverses méthodologies et niveaux d'analyse, de sorte à appréhender dans toute l'hétérogénéité et la complexité du texte. Si notre recherche s'appuie principalement sur les outils de la statistique textuelle qui permettent de faire monter du corpus lui-même ses reliefs linguistiques, textuels, discursifs, envisagés comme des vecteurs d'exploration, elle vise à dépasser l'entrée du vocabulaire sur laquelle se fonde la lexicométrie, et ses modes d'approche traditionnels sur cette entrée même In contrast to topical trends of mediatic discourse analysis (predominantly focused on newspapers from the 21st century), this thesis aims at analyzing the discourse of a French newspaper called Le Petit Comtois (1883-1944). Rooted in various fields of research, namely corpus linguistics, "discourse analysis from a historical viewpoint" (Robin, Maldidier, Guilhaumou), "textual analysis of discourse" (Adam, Heidmann) and lexical statistics (Lebart, Salem), this thesis questions the contributions of a new numerical philology (Rastier; Viprey). This work is based on two complementary axes of research: on the one hand, we worked on the constitution of a textual database with the aim of accurately editing, controlling and normalizing it in order to allow for a revival of interdisciplinary studies led on regional 19th century newspapers. Therefore, our point is to propose some methodological approaches in order to overcome technical obstacles which occur during the acquisition and the sharing of large volume of textual data. The construction and the normalization of the database condition the heuristic confrontation of points of views and the choice of textual sciences methods for the analysis. On the other hand, our objectives are to highlight the specificities of Le Petit Comtois discourse during the period 1883-1903. Exploring a 5.5 million-word corpus, we mainly use the textual statistical methods to produce the emergence of the linguistic, textual and discursive reliefs of the text itself in order to use them as clues for the continuation of the analysis, with the aim to overtake the traditional entrance of the vocabulary used in lexicometry and its ways to approach textuality

    Les études qui composent cette thèse, hétérogènes sans doute par leur objet, leurs méthodes et leurs ambitions, ont toutes en commun de chercher à éclairer l'oeuvre littéraire de Goethe à partir des notions élaborées dans les "écrits scientifiques". Si ces études sont fragmentaires, à dessein, et par nécessité, elles renvoient toutes à une certaine unité de la pensée de Goethe, elles la postulent même. C'est dans les écrits consacrés à la géologie, à la "théorie des couleurs", à la biologie et à la botanique, etc - écrits auxquels Goethe lui-même accordait une importance qui surprenait ses interlocuteurs -, que l'on trouve exprimée dans la prose la plus ample, ou sous une forme fragmentaire, mais au plus près de son origine, "la pensée la plus profonde" de Goethe, celle qui trouve, ailleurs, dans la poésie, sa forme la plus condensée. Non que la poésie soit la traduction versifiée d'une pensée "scientifique", dogmatique, qui chercherait à se vulgariser post festum par un poème didactique; elle est au contraire la condensation la plus authentique - la quintessence, au gré des circonstances biographiques - d'une approche du monde, d'une vision de l'homme, d'une philosophie de la nature, qui trouve dans les écrits scientifiques (surtout dans la Farbenlehre) sa manifestation la plus explicite. Comme la feuille du gingko biloba dans le Divan, on pourrait dire que la pensée de Goethe, simultanément poétique et rationnelle, est à la fois "une et double", eins und doppelt.     Cette thèse propose la lecture croisée de trois écritures poétiques de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, confrontées à des événements historiques violents : la Shoah, pour Nelly Sachs et Edmond Jabès, la dictature argentine, pour Juan Gelman. Dans un premier temps, ces œuvres sont analysées comme "écritures de la perte", qui font du poème un mémorial pour les victimes disparues, privées de sépulture. Dans un second temps, la lecture de ces poèmes comme "écritures de l’exil" permet de définir le lien complexe qui s'y noue entre histoire et mémoires collectives, et tout particulièrement une mémoire des événements concernés liée à la mystique juive. La troisième partie montre dans quelle mesure le poème, définissant son propre temps et sa parole propre, peut être lu comme "territoire de mémoire". Ce parcours permet de définir une posture réceptive, face à des textes qui ne sont pas des témoignages directs de la violence concentrationnaire. Cette réception vise à montrer comment le lecteur, dans la rencontre avec ces textes, prend conscience de contenus mémoriels déjà présents en lui, laissant ainsi émerger son propre "mémorial intérieur". Our purpose is to read and compare poetic works of the second half of the 20th Century, facing violent historical events. Nelly Sachs and Edmond Jabès are dealing with the Holocaust, Juan Gelman with the Argentinian Dictatorship. We first read the chosen works as “Writing of the Loss”, as an attempt to host the victims, which have been deprived of sepulchre. We then read them as "Writing of the Exile", and focus particularly on vbthe relation, between History and collective memories, such as Jewish and mystical memory of the experiences exile. Finally we show how the poems of our corpus can be read as “territories of memory”. This possibility of reception show the way for the reader to become conscious of his own "interne memorial".

    La présente étude traite de la problématique liée à l’expérience de l’étranger dans trois romans de José Saramago, Le Radeau de pierre, L’Aveuglement et La Lucidité, trois de Christa Wolf, Christa T., Trame d’enfance et Médée ainsi que trois de Vassilis Alexakis, La Langue maternelle, Avant et Les Mots étrangers, en examinant les aspects culturels, linguistiques et poétiques. Saramago, Wolf et Alexakis font l’expérience de l’étranger de manières différentes. L’expatriation volontaire ou l’exil contraint marquent un point décisif dans leurs vies et leurs créations romanesques. Cette étude se concentre sur les manifestations d’une poétique de l’étranger biculturel qui prend appui sur les singularités provenant de origines diverses des romanciers. Le personnage étranger occupe une place centrale dans les romans. Ses caractéristiques sont mises en évidence grâce à une étude des frontières et à un examen des cultures représentées. Notre réflexion est orientée vers la poétique des romans. Les oeuvres d’auteurs biculturels se distinguentelles formellement des autres romans ? Notre travail démontre que la présence de l’étranger est intimement liée à la structure des romans. L’expérience de l’étranger laissetelle des traces au niveau de la langue ? Chez Saramago et Wolf, l’examen métalinguistique devient un acte créateur qui accompagne la mise en cause de l’omniscience du narrateur. Au contraire d’Alexakis, ces deux auteurs intègrent le dialogisme dans leur poétique de l’étranger. Les romanciers mènent des réflexions sur la culture en interrogeant à la fois la langue et la mémoire transmises par les ancêtres. Ces deux axes aboutissent à une réflexion sur l’identité contemporaine This research deals with the problems linked to the foreign experience in three novels from José Saramago, The Stone boat, Blindness and Seeing, three from Christa Wolf, The Quest for Christa T., Patterns of Childhood and Medea, as well as in three from Vassilis Alexakis, La Langue maternelle, Avant and Les Mots étrangers, analysing them in their cultural, linguistic and poetical aspects. Saramago, Wolf and Alexakis make a foreign experience in different ways. The voluntary expatriation or the forced exile are important moments in their lives and in their novelistic production. This study is focused on the poetical expressions of the bicultural foreigner, based on the particularities that come up with the diverse origins of the novelists. The foreign character takes up a key position in the novels. Its properties are outlined and discussed by studying the borders and examining the represented cultures. The research is turned towards the poetics in the novels. Are there formal differences between novels from bicultural writers and other ones? Our work shows that the presence of the foreigner is linked to the structure of the novel. Does the foreign experience leave its imprints on the language used? In Saramago’s and Wolf’s novels the metalinguistic examination becomes a creative act and it calls the omniscience of the narrator into question. Unlike Alexakis, these two writers integrate dialogism in their poetics of the abroad. The novelists think about culture by means of the language and the memories passed by the ancestors. These two axes lead to studies on contemporary identity

    Cette thèse propose la lecture croisée de trois écritures poétiques de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, confrontées à des événements historiques violents : la Shoah, pour Nelly Sachs et Edmond Jabès, la dictature argentine, pour Juan Gelman. Dans un premier temps, ces œuvres sont analysées comme "écritures de la perte", qui font du poème un mémorial pour les victimes disparues, privées de sépulture. Dans un second temps, la lecture de ces poèmes comme "écritures de l’exil" permet de définir le lien complexe qui s'y noue entre histoire et mémoires collectives, et tout particulièrement une mémoire des événements concernés liée à la mystique juive. La troisième partie montre dans quelle mesure le poème, définissant son propre temps et sa parole propre, peut être lu comme "territoire de mémoire". Ce parcours permet de définir une posture réceptive, face à des textes qui ne sont pas des témoignages directs de la violence concentrationnaire. Cette réception vise à montrer comment le lecteur, dans la rencontre avec ces textes, prend conscience de contenus mémoriels déjà présents en lui, laissant ainsi émerger son propre "mémorial intérieur". Our purpose is to read and compare poetic works of the second half of the 20th Century, facing violent historical events. Nelly Sachs and Edmond Jabès are dealing with the Holocaust, Juan Gelman with the Argentinian Dictatorship. We first read the chosen works as “Writing of the Loss”, as an attempt to host the victims, which have been deprived of sepulchre. We then read them as "Writing of the Exile", and focus particularly on vbthe relation, between History and collective memories, such as Jewish and mystical memory of the experiences exile. Finally we show how the poems of our corpus can be read as “territories of memory”. This possibility of reception show the way for the reader to become conscious of his own "interne memorial".

    La présente étude traite de la problématique liée à l’expérience de l’étranger dans trois romans de José Saramago, Le Radeau de pierre, L’Aveuglement et La Lucidité, trois de Christa Wolf, Christa T., Trame d’enfance et Médée ainsi que trois de Vassilis Alexakis, La Langue maternelle, Avant et Les Mots étrangers, en examinant les aspects culturels, linguistiques et poétiques. Saramago, Wolf et Alexakis font l’expérience de l’étranger de manières différentes. L’expatriation volontaire ou l’exil contraint marquent un point décisif dans leurs vies et leurs créations romanesques. Cette étude se concentre sur les manifestations d’une poétique de l’étranger biculturel qui prend appui sur les singularités provenant de origines diverses des romanciers. Le personnage étranger occupe une place centrale dans les romans. Ses caractéristiques sont mises en évidence grâce à une étude des frontières et à un examen des cultures représentées.
