Ao desconstruímos, neste ensaio, o conceito Monstruosidade apresentamos as pretensões dos "níveis de malevolência" nos estereótipos da feiura advindos de personificações tais como o Golem, o Ciclope ou as personagens bestiais made in Hollywood - em sua maioria, discursos preconceituosos contra a Alteridade. Dito isso, o problema do mal será considerado aqui a partir da condição de inescapabilidade em face de imensos acontecimentos, dentro dos quais o homem se encontra implicado - disso conceituamos Monstruosidade em correlação com o Mal e o Inescapável. Assim, este texto objetiva investigar tal conceito na imanência dos acontecimentos de "A Metamorfose", de Franz Kafka. Para isso, nossas hipóteses são: a) a Monstruosidade se configura tanto mais quanto maior for à inescapabilidade dos fatos nos quais os homens são vitimados; b) o homem não é monstro nem algoz em si, mesmo que se revista de fealdade de aparência; c) o Mal se constitui através dos acontecimentos caudalosos e sequenciados da história humana nos quais os homens se engajam; d) inocência e culpa se constituem em arbitrariedades no regime de monstruosidade. Assim, efetuamos uma pesquisa textual de cunho filosófico e literário, sobre o texto de Kafka em busca destas questões. In this issue, to deconstructing the Monstrosity concept, we present the claims of "levels of malevolence" the stereotypes of ugliness coming from personifications such as the Golem, the Cyclops, or bestial characters made in Hollywood - mostly prejudiced speeches against otherness. That said, the problem of evil is seen here from the inescapability condition in the face of huge events, in which man is involved - that conceptualize Monstrosity in correlation with the disease and the Inescapable. Thus, this text discusses the concept inherent to the events of "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. Our hypotheses are: a) the Monstrosity is configured so much the greater the inescapability of events in which men are victimized; b) man is no monster nor executioner itself, even if he puts on ugliness of appearance; c) Evil is constituted through the mighty and sequenced events of human history in which men engage; d) innocence and guilt constitute arbitrary monstrosity of the regime. For this, we have made a textual search of a philosophical and literary nature, on the text of Kafka asking about these questions.
