The edition provides a linguistically standardised text which has been cleared of obvious errors, and to which is appended a translation into Modern German and a textual commentary. In addition, the book contains a detailed introduction and a comprehensive collection of illustrations. Nathanael Busch, Philipps-Universität Marburg. Mit dieser Ausgabe wird der ,Wigamur´,, ein Artusroman des 13. Jahrhunderts, erstmalig der breiteren Öffentlichkeit in einer kritischen Ausgabe zugänglich gemacht. Die Edition bietet einen sprachlich normalisierten und von evidenten Fehlern bereinigten Text, dem eine übersetzung in heutiges Deutsch und ein Stellenkommentar beigegeben sind. Außerdem wird eine ausführliche Einleitung und ein umfangreicher Abbildungsteil geboten.
