Im Projekt LediZ (Lernen mit digitalen Zeugnissen) arbeitet ein interdisziplinäres Team daran, wie mit Medien im digitalen Zeitalter gelernt werden kann. Dabei werden Zeugnisse von Holocaust-Überlebenden mit innovativer Technologie für zukunftsweisende Lernprozesse aufbereitet und erschlossen. In der Handreichung werden die einzelnen Medienformate - interaktive digitale Zeugnisse, XR-Hubs und VR-Experiences - vorgestellt und ihr didaktisches Potenzial im Kontext der Holocaust Education erläutert. Unterrichtsmaterialien stehen als Download zur Verfügung und können an die Bedarfe der jeweiligen Lerner:innengruppe angepasst werden. Empfehlungen zum Umgang mit XR-Medien und ein Literatur- und Medienverzeichnis beschließen die Handreichung. Die Zielgruppe der Handreichung sind Lehrkräfte der Sekundarstufe/n sowie Vermittler:innen der außerschulischen Bildungsarbeit.

We introduce childPoeDE: the first corpus of German poetry for children comprising poems which are still read today and cover a wide range of topics and authors. ChildPoeDE contains poem texts and both poem-level and token-level metadata. Poem-level metadata includes information about the anthologies and authors, quantitative text features, rhyme and lexical richness. Token-level metadata covers word length, position and frequency, parts-of-speech, onomatopoeia and sonority. This corpus can be used for computational text analysis, but also as a source for stimulus material in experimental studies. The corpus metadata is freely accessible via Zenodo. The poem texts are protected by copyright.

Recent years have seen a growing interest in grammatical variation, a core explanandum of grammatical theory. The present volume explores questions that are fundamental to this line of research: First, the question of whether variation can always and completely be explained by intra- or extra-linguistic predictors, or whether there is a certain amount of unpredictable – or ‘free’ – grammatical variation. Second, the question of what implications the (in-)existence of free variation would hold for our theoretical models and the empirical study of grammar. The volume provides the first dedicated book-length treatment of this long-standing topic. Kollegen, Wegbegleiter und Freunde haben Rolf Schöneich zu seinem Eintritt in den Ruhestand einen kurzen, kreativen Text gewidmet. Entstanden sind sehr persönliche Beiträge, die vielfältige Gesprächsfäden wiederaufnehmen; einige davon führen die fachliche Diskussion weiter, die im universitären Alltag oft zu kurz kommt, und laden zum Weiterdenken (und -arbeiten) ein, andere sind heiter-verspielt und eher mit einem Augenzwinkern zu lesen. Alle aber bezeugen etwas, was keinesfalls selbstverständlich ist: dass nämlich akademische Kontakte für Rolf Schöneich in erster Linie menschliche, oft auch freundschaftliche Kontakte waren.
