    This Doctoral Thesis deals with the lexical repertoire of Hunsrückisch spoken in the La Plata Basin. The immigration language of Hunsrückisch was brought to southern Brazil after the first arrival of German immigrants in 1824, which was the beginning of an intense linguistic contact with Brazilian Portuguese and Platinum Spanish (in Argentina and Paraguay). Elements of dialectal variety arising from this linguistic contact (hybridity, linguistic calques, etc.) as well as the German origin in the lexical repertoire are analyzed from the perspective of pluridimensional and relational Dialectology. Here, the two most important migratory processes of transatlantic and inter-American migration are considered. The data analyzed in this study comes from interviews at 41 geographical data points, conducted within the framework of the ALMA-H project (Linguistic-Contactual Atlas of German Minorities in the La Plata Basin - Hunsrückisch.

    This article shows in which way the so-called climate theories, which have been developed since Antiquity, change over the course of time and influence the different theories on the origin of language. Via Montesquieu and Rousseau, the “climate theories” have influenced Johann Gottfried Herder, who bases on the romantic concept of Volk.     This article is intended to analyze Benjamin's interpretation of Kafka from the perspective of tradition. The revision of the said concept is here studied whithin the context of Benjaminian late works. The notions of aggadah and halacha are then central for the structure of his reflections. Thus, this paper aims at tracking the elements involved in the elaboration of a political theory that allowed Benjamin to recover Kafka for his political renewal of the concept of humanity. ; El presente artículo se propone analizar la interpretación benjaminiana de Kafka tomando como eje central el problema de la tradición y su resignificación política en el contexto de producción tardío. Son relevantes en este sentido, los conceptos de hagadá y halajá con los que Benjamin estructura sus análisis. El objetivo es entonces rastrear los elementos que en la elaboración de una teoría política permiten recuperar al narrador checo para la revisión de un concepto de lo humano.

    En el presente trabajo procuramos reconstruir las críticas que realiza Friedrich Schlegel a la concepción estética del joven Herder. A partir del análisis de dichas críticas se intentará demostrar que la distinción schlegeliana entre una "poesía objetiva" y otra de carácter "interesante" no se hallaba orientada a garantizar la condena radical del arte moderno sino más bien a cuestionar el compromiso de Herder con una concepción naturalista de la belleza artística. Schlegel descubría en este punto un momento de continuidad entre las dos posiciones enfrentadas en la Querelle entre los antiguos y los modernosy hacía derivar de este elemento común la incapacidad de ambas posturas para recrear un arte de carácter objetivo. Como veremos hacia el final de estas páginas, Schlegel consideraba que el restablecimiento de la objetividad poética en el marco de las nuevas condiciones que imponía la modernidad solo podía lograrse por medio de la propia radicalización delas tendencias subjetivistas; es decir, por medio de una teoría estética que asumiera de manera consecuente la necesidad de una mediación reflexiva de la totalidad de los elementos poéticos. ; In the present work we try to reconstruct the critique of Friedrich Schlegel to the aesthetic conception of the young Herder. From the analysis of these critique we try to show that the schlegelian distinction between an "objective poetry" and another one of "interesting" character was not oriented to guarantee the radical condemnation of the modern art but rather to question Herder's commitment with a Naturalistic conception of artistic beauty. Schlegel discovered here a continuity between the two opposing positions in the Querelle and derived from this common element the inability of both positions to recreate an objective art.     El objeto de esta tesis doctoral es la literatura de principios del siglo XX en Espana y Alemania, concretamente la literatura de las vanguardias. En este trabajo se explora el papel de los medios en la nueva definicion de la discursividad y el medio literario, el desarrollo de un nuevo discurso Y nuevas formas poeticas y la estagnación del proyecto vanguardia hacia una literatura realista. Para tratar estas cuestiones el trabajo aborda la obra de dos autores de dicha epoca cuya obra literaria se encuentra marcada por la influencia de la pintura, el cine y la música. Carl Einstein m(1885-1940) y Cesar Arconada (1898-1964) son dos claros ejemplos de un cambio de paradigma radical en la literatura que marca la literatura del protoexpresionismo y expresionismo aleman y las corrientes espanolas del ultraismo, el creacionismo y posteriormente el surrealismo. El analisis del "Bebuquin oder die Dilettanten des Wunders" de Carl Einstein y de las "novelas cinematograficas" de Arconada busca los fundamentos ideologicos y formales de esta nueva literatura, que se apoya en las nuevas formas de percepción y expresion del cubismo y el cine para reescribirse. Conceptos como el movimiento, la alucinacion, la luz, la visualidad, la subjetividad y la pureza de las formas juegan un papel determinante en estas novelas, cuyos personajes se encuentran profundamente ligados al mundo de las artes y por ende aparecen como seres irreales entre mundos de percepcion distintos. Centrándose en el estudio de una forma de escritura polimórfica y sinestetica, este trabajo ayuda a entender los fundamentos de la vanguardia y una epoca capital de la literatura en un momento de ruptura absoluta con la tradicion.     Dictionary usage research is a topic of increasing importance within the field of lexicography. At the beginning of the new millennium, the dictionary user was still relatively unknown. However, in the last ten years, more and more user studies have been published. Consequently, methods, data and the conclusions which can be drawn were successively refined. Also, new possibilities of web-based data collection, e.g., the analysis of log files, enriched this field of research. This contribution aims to describe the state of the art in dictionary usage research in the digital era. I begin by providing a short overview of methodological and terminological basics and then place a special focus on three different methods of collecting empirical data on dictionary use: online questionnaires, eye tracking and the analysis of log-files. All these methods are illustrated on user studies conducted at the Institute for the German Language in Mannheim.

    El análisis de las obras lexicográficas existentes en espanol y en alemán para L2 confirma la necesidad de desarrollar un diccionario pedagógico con una nueva concepción, desde la cual el usuario pueda obtener una mayor información adaptada a sus necesidades. De especial relevancia es el tratamiento de la información específica con el que se puedan mejorar los procesos de producción de textos en L2 mediante un procedimiento que, teniendo en cuenta la diversidad de uso, permita seleccionar un lexema particular de la variedad de posibles lexicalizaciones. En esta contribución se presentan los aspectos teóricos y metodológicos que sustentan el proyecto DICONALE-online. Los cuatro pilares del proyecto en torno al tipo de usuarios, al enfoque conceptual y onomasiológico, a la base empírica de los datos y al modelo de descripción enlazado con un punto de vista contrastivo configuran nuevos retos para el desarrollo de la lexicografía pedagógica que se expondrán en este trabajo a partir de algunos ejemplos. ; The analysis of existing bilingual lexicographical works for German and Spanish confirmed us the necessity to develop a dictionary with a novel approach, with which the user could receive a more tailored information to his needs, in case to produce texts in the respective foreign languages and which allows him to select a particular lexeme from the variety of possible lexicalizations, taking into account the diversity in their use. Based on this assumption, the contribution presents, on the one hand, the theoretical and methodological aspects, and on the other hand, some exemplary results of the lexicographical DICONALE online project. This is an ongoing project for the development of a modular bilingual and bidirectional dictionary with a conceptual onomasiological focus and online access.
