    Zum Schwerpunkt dieses Beitrags wird erstens das Wesen der "sakralen Interjektionen" und ihre Beziehung zum übersetzungstheoretischen Bereich, zweitens die Anwesenheit dieser in repräsentativsten deutsch und tschechisch geschriebenen Wörterbüchern behandelt. Da die Beziehung der drei Größen Usus, Norm und Kodifizierung immer im Einklang stehen muss, wird die Untersuchung durch konkrete Analyse der unter ausgewählten tschechischen Studenten verteilten Fragebögen ergänzt.

Teoretickým východiskem jsou práce domácích i zahraničních lingvistů. This paper deals with the emotions of sorrow and anger in a religious text (the Holy Liturgy of John Chrysostomos, translated by Alexi Maltzew). The text was analyzed with regard to the translation of the relevant lexical material into the German language. The theoretical basis for the analysis included works by both Czech and foreign linguists.

    This study deals with the translation of Gustav Mahler's "Resurrection Symphony". The first two stanzas of the text were written by the German poet Klopstock; the next two were added by Mahler himself. In the lyrics of this song two different world-views are confronted with each other – the view of a Lutheran Christian (Klopstock) and the view of an philosophically educated Jew (Mahler). The translation is based on a translation project used for teaching purposes. We evaluated the eight best student translations according to theoretical maxims, and also focused on relevant issues which arose during the translation. These included e.g. the translation of religious texts and lexis (bearing in mind that the lyrics are written by authors with different attitudes), the problem of archaization versus modernization in the lyrics, and also the issue of losses and shifts.

    The article examines issues connected with the translation of certain specific concepts and aspects of reality in the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, i.e. the liturgy of the Eastern Churches. The author focuses on modern Orthodox German translations of this liturgy in the context of issues related to the translation of selected specific concepts and aspects of reality from the Greek and Old Church Slavonic original texts into modern German. The article also examines the translation of theological terminology. The analysis applies the theory of text filters, which is currently a widely used approach in translation criticism.

    This study deals with the translation of Gustav Mahler's "Resurrection Symphony". The first two stanzas of the text were written by the German poet Klopstock; the next two were added by Mahler himself. In the lyrics of this song two different world-views are confronted with each other – the view of a Lutheran Christian (Klopstock) and the view of an philosophically educated Jew (Mahler). The translation is based on a translation project used for teaching purposes. We evaluated the eight best student translations according to theoretical maxims, and also focused on relevant issues which arose during the translation. These included e.g. the translation of religious texts and lexis (bearing in mind that the lyrics are written by authors with different attitudes), the problem of archaization versus modernization in the lyrics, and also the issue of losses and shifts.

    The article examines issues connected with the translation of certain specific concepts and aspects of reality in the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, i.e. the liturgy of the Eastern Churches. The author focuses on modern Orthodox German translations of this liturgy in the context of issues related to the translation of selected specific concepts and aspects of reality from the Greek and Old Church Slavonic original texts into modern German. The article also examines the translation of theological terminology. The analysis applies the theory of text filters, which is currently a widely used approach in translation criticism.
