The comparative study of the mixed texts found in the Nash Papyrus, Philo, 4Qphyl G, 8Qphyl 3 and 4Qmez A shows, on one hand, that their form of the Decalogue is closer to the version given in Exod than to that found found in Deut, and on the other hand, that this Decalogue is closer to the Septuagint than to the Massoretic Text. The scribes who wrote these manuscripts copied the Decalogue of Exod from memory. This explains why the Qumran witnesses which are supposed to cite Deut contain the Exod form. This also explains the textual particularities in each witness, since the variants found in each of them are not always the same.
