A catalogue of a valuable and capital collection of pictures, scarce antique coins, medals, bronzes, basso and also relievo's, a matchless and superb vase, and two urns of the ancient Roman ware
Being formerly the collection of pope paul iv. left by will to prince carafa, of naples, and consigned from thence. Amongst the above pictures are a Holey Family, by Raphael, and three history pieces, by C. Calabrese. To which, by permission, are added, a small collection of Italian, French, and Flemish pictures, the property of a gentleman, (Going Abroad.) The whole of which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his great room, in Pall-Mall, on Friday and Saturday, December 14 and 15, 1770. To be viewed on Wednesday and Thursday, the 12th and 13th instant, and to the time of sale, which will begin at twelve o'clock. Catalogues may be had at Mr. Christie's as above
