    How can lexical data be represented such that they can serve to satisfy the needs of different types of dictionary users in different usage situations? Starting from a function-theoretic notion of lexicography, this book tries to answer this question by exploring the use of semantic web formalisms to approach both general and specific issues in modelling lexical resources.
