The new universal parish officer
Containing all the laws now in force, relating to parish business, ranged in alphabetical order. Very proper for attornies, constables, churchwardens, Justices of the Peace, Overseers of the Poor, Surveyors of the Highways, Headboroughs, Tidingmen, Sidesmen, Vestrymen, and all Persons in Office, who would gain a competent Knowledge of this Branch of the Law, so as to enable them to discharge their respective Duties with Ease and Expedition.
