Editionen philosophischer und literarischer Texte haben nicht nur einen wissenschaftlichen Wert, sondern auch eine kulturelle und politische Bedeutung. Sie sind gleichzeitig Ausdruck einer bestimmten historischen Situation. Mit ihrer Entwicklung geht häufig ein editionsphilologischer oder technischer Wandel einher. Die Beiträge stellen Editionsprojekte vom Mittelalter bis ins 20. Jahrhundert vor und zeigen deren Wandel und Wirkung

    Main description: This collection assembles the contributions to an international conference of the "Permanent Research Group on the Editing of Philosophical Works" in conjunction with the Albertus Magnus Institute, which took place in Bonn from 21 to 23 February 2005. Editions of philosophical and literary works are not only of academic value but also of cultural and political significance. At the same time, they are the expression of a given historical situation. Their progress is frequently accompanied by changes of a philological or technical nature. The individual articles discuss editing projects from the Middle Ages to the 20th century and indicate the changes they underwent and the impact they have had
