The great tryall and arraignment of the late distressed lady otherwise called the late Germain princess
Being brought to her tryal in the Old-Bayley, on Thursday last the 4th instant of this month of June, before the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor, the Lord Chief Justice of Common Pleas, the Right Worshipfull, the Court of Aldermen, and all the rest belonging to that most honourable bench. The tenure of her indictment, of having two husbands, and her answet [sic] to the same. Also the several witnesses which came in against her, with her absolute confutation upon each of their evidences by her acute wit and impregnable reasons whereby she was acquitted by publique proclamation. The manner ye may read as followeth -

At the sessions-house in the Old Bayly, on the 4th day of December, 1706. before the Rt. Honourable Sir Robert Bedding feld, Kt. Lord Mayor, Sir John Powel, Kt. Sir Littleton Powys, Kt. two of Her Majesty's Justices of the Court of Queen's Bench, Sir John Blencow, Kt. one of the Justices of Her Majesty's Court of Common Pleas, and several Others of Her Majesty's Justices for the Goal-Delivery of Newgate. With Copies of the several Letters between Mr. Feilding and his First Wife Mrs. Wadsworth, by the Name of Anne Countess of Feilding. As also all the Learned Arguments of the Queen's Council. The trial of Elizabeth Duchess Dowager of Kingston for bigamy, before the right honourable the House of Peers, in Westminster-Hall, in full Parliament, on Monday the 15th, Tuesday the 16th, Friday the 19th, Saturday the 20th, and Monday the 22d of April, 1776; on the last of which Days the said Elizabeth Duchess Dowager of Kingston was found Guilty.
