    Suite à l’attentat du 7 janvier 2015 contre le magazine satirique français Charlie Hebdo ont commencé des débats dans les médias français et allemands sur la liberté de la presse et la censure. L’attentat a été revendiqué par deux islamistes autoproclamés. Les débats tournaient autour des questions de solidarité et d’appartenance au niveau national et européen. Fondé sur l'analyse du discours linguistique, ce travail examine un corpus de textes des cinq journaux français et allemands à plus haut tirage et analyse de manière contrastée les deux notions de liberté de la presse et censure dans les débats publics 2015-2017 en France et en Allemagne. L’analyse part du principe que la notion de la liberté de la presse s’inscrit dans un contexte historique qui forme la base des sociétés européennes et occidentales. Surtout depuis les Lumières, ces débats relèvent des dimen- sions de continuité et de césures historiques: au cours de l'établissement d'un canon de valeurs éclairées, la liberté de la presse est devenue une revendication centrale des progressistes et la censure une caractéristique de l'oppression. Ce contraste a survécu jusqu’à aujourd’hui sous une forme plus différenciée. Il s’agit dans ce travail de faire ressortir cette dimension en reliant les débats actuels à leur sémantique historique. Les résultats montrent que les cartes cognitives ont été construites sur la base de cette opposition et traduites en conséquences politiques. Les termes de liberté de la presse et de censure devenant ainsi un critère d'appar- tenance européenne et les événements de janvier 2015 ont été des vecteurs pour la construction d’identité et d’altérité. ; Following the attacks on the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on January 7th 2015 by two self-pro- claimed Islamist assassins, debates about freedom of press and censorship emerged in the French and German media. Linked to these debates were discussions on solidarity and social affiliation to a national and European level. Using linguistic discourse analysis, this work examines a corpus of texts from each of the five highest-circu- lation print media in France and Germany and contrastively explores the two terms in public debates from 2015 to 2017. The study begins with the premise that freedom of press is a foundation of Western European societies that stands in a long historical context. In Germany and France, the debates on freedom of press and censorship show dimensions of historical continuities and caesurae, especially since the Enlightenment pe- riod: in the course of the establishment of an enlightened canon of values, freedom of press became a central demand of progressive agents and censorship a characteristic of varied forms of oppression. This is an oppo- sition which - in a more differentiated form - has survived until today. The analysis reveals this dimension by integrating the debates into their historical semantics. The results show that in the debates, cognitive maps were constructed on the basis of this opposition and translated into political action. The terms freedom of press and censorship thus became a benchmark of European affiliation, the events in January 2015 served as a vehicle through which were constructed in- and outgroups.

    Cette thèse propose une analyse du conditionnel en français basée sur des concepts énonciatifs et aspecto-temporels, dont le plus important pour ce temps grammatical se révèle être celui de « référentiel temporel ». Après avoir exposé le cadre théorique de J.-P. Desclés et Z. Guentchéva utilisé pour ce travail, nous présentons tout d’abord une application de ce modèle à des temps verbaux de l’indicatif (présent, imparfait et futur), puis nous abordons les problématiques du discours rapporté et des énoncés en si, que concernent à la fois les temps de l’indicatif mentionnés et le conditionnel. Nous passons ensuite à l’analyse du conditionnel lui-même, qui est sous-tendu par un invariant sémantique : ce temps grammatical pose la relation prédicative aspectualisée (le procès) dans un référentiel autre que le Référentiel Énonciatif, l’actualisation de ce procès vers le Référentiel Énonciatif se faisant alors de différentes manières selon les trois classes d’emplois du conditionnel que nous avons dégagées (« futur dans le passé », hypothèse, et désengagement). Chaque classe est étudiée en détail et divisée en sous-classes. Nous proposons dans une troisième partie une étude des équivalents en allemand du conditionnel. Cette langue utilise diverses formes verbales, relevant des modes Indikativ, Konjunktiv I et II, ainsi que de la forme en würde + infinitif, pour exprimer les valeurs du conditionnel. Pour finir, une comparaison entre cette dernière forme et le conditionnel met en évidence la pertinence du concept de référentiel temporel puisqu’il permet d’expliciter le rapprochement sémantique entre deux formes verbales morphologiquement différentes. ; This thesis proposes an analysis of the French conditional based on enunciative and aspecto-temporal concepts, where the most important concept for this grammatical tense is shown to be that of “temporal reference framework”.     Dans l’étude de l’usage des expressions référentielles, de nombreux travaux se sont intéressés à la relation entre formes linguistiques et fonctions saisies en termes informationnels, et la sensibilité précoce du jeune enfant à certaines facettes de la structuration informationnelle a été montré, notamment au statut attentionnel des référents et la dimension du topic-commentaire. La linguistique interactionnelle a adopté un point de vue complémentaire sur les expressions référentielles, et a montré comment les locuteurs signalent et accomplissent par leur choix d’une expression référentielle non seulement la référence, mais également diverses tâches liées à la gestion de l’interaction même. Nous avons souhaité, dans ce travail, apporter un éclairage multidimensionnel à la question de l’usage des expressions référentielles, et notamment au contraste entre formes faibles, fortes et disloquées, dans deux langues qui diffèrent quant aux moyens linguistiques employés pour marquer le topic.Notre analyse repose sur un corpus transversal de 12 enfants francophones et germanophones, âgés entre 2 et 3 ans. Nous avons analysé les formes et usages des expressions référentielles produites par les enfants et les adultes, en prenant en compte des facteurs morpho-syntaxiques, informationnels et interactionnels.Nos résultats montrent la complémentarité de ces différents facteurs dans l’explication des usages chez l’enfant et chez l’adulte.     Le théâtre religieux, devenu un média de masse dans les villes européennes entre le XIVe et le XVIe siècle, est depuis toujours un défi pour la recherche comparatiste. Malgré les nombreuses similitudes qui existent entre les jeux de différentes zones linguistiques, aucun lien génétique entre eux n’a pu être prouvé. La présente thèse se propose d’ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives à la recherche comparatiste en changeant d’approche méthodologique. Afin de dégager les stratégies de persuasion du théâtre religieux, elle identifie son répertoire sémiotique, consistant en signes linguistiques, iconiques, sonores (musique et bruits) et gestuels. Bien que les représentations historiques soient essentiellement inaccessibles à l’analyse, la « représentation imaginée », inscrite comme potentialité dans les signes transmis par les manuscrits, peut être reconstruite. À l’aide de méthodes provenant majoritairement de la linguistique textuelle, cette étude décrit certaines stratégies de persuasion dans une sélection représentative de Passions et de jeux eschatologiques germanophones et francophones. Elle identifie des lieux argumentatifs (topoï) qui structurent les pièces. Un chapitre est consacré au topos qui inscrit dans une certaine matière un scénario menaçant qui souligne l’importance et l’urgence de la représentation. La comparaison diachronique montre comment des stratégies de diffamation, employées aux XIVe et XVe siècles pour caractériser et diaboliser le collectif des juifs, sont appliquées aux protestants au XVIe siècle. L’évocation d’autorités permettant aux jeux de s’auto-légitimer est abordée dans un autre chapitre. L’analyse des différentes techniques d’évocation permet non seulement de décrire l’usage rhétorique et performatif des autorités, mais aussi de mettre en évidence différents concepts d’autorité.     Grâce à l’Agenda franco-allemand 2020, le Rhin supérieur a vu fleurir des crèches franco-allemandes qui promettent d’éduquer les enfants accueillis à une bilingualité-biculturalité précoce.Cette thèse se propose de fournir un inventaire des contenus, des stratégies et des pratiques langagières qu’on attend de telles structures et, plus important encore, des compétences interactionnelles linguistiques et culturelles que les enfants peuvent y acquérir vraiment.En se fondant sur différents corpus tels que le cadre législatif pour l’accueil de la petite enfance tant en France qu’en Allemagne, les sites web des crèches franco-allemandes du Rhin supérieur, des entretiens avec les employés et les directions des crèches visitées et, finalement, les notes de terrain et 28 heures d’interactions entre professionnels et enfants audio-enregistrées dans 3 structures, cette thèse se propose dans le cadre d’une étude ethnolinguistique d’en étudier les champs de tensions et les synergies à exploiter. ; Thanks to the French-German Agenda 2020, many new French-German day-care centres have opened in the region of the Upper Rhine, guaranteeing an early bilingual and bicultural upbringing.The present thesis elaborates an inventory of the contents, strategies and language practices offered in the respective structures and, even more important, of the linguistic and cultural interactional competencies that can actually be acquired by the children visiting these day-care centres.For this purpose, the present thesis analyses different corpora such as the legal framework for early childhood care in France and Germany, the websites of the French-German day-care centres of the Upper Rhine, the interviews made with the centres’ employees and directors, and, last not least, the field notes taken in 3 centres that have been visited as well as 28 hours of audiorecorded caretaker-child interactions. In so doing, it uses an ethnolinguistic research design in order to identify fields of tension as well as the synergies to be exploited.

    With the Journal of Language and Aging Research, scholars in related fields are provided with a common venue. The newly founded journal continues and accompanies the Corpora for Language and Aging Research (CLARe) network's series of conferences started in 2014. Research in this field is confronted with major challenges, including: (1) to account for specific facets of age while not ignoring its inherent dynamics of aging; (2) to promote expertise in different related linguistic disciplines and at the same time develop its a coherent visibility; (3) to avoid stereotypes while addressing specific communicative issues in the society, as well as in families and in care institutions, covering an ever growing range of languages and varieties. The genuinely digital format is aimed at providing an open platform for innovations in the field.

    Das aus der Zusammenarbeit von Klaus Peter Dencker und Giovanni Fontana hervorgegangene Buch No A <-> No Z steht auf mehreren Ebenen im Zeichen einer Poetik des Dialogs ‚zwischen‘ verschiedenen Instanzen, Medien und ästhetischen Verfahrensweisen: Auf ein Schnittfeld unterschiedlicher ästhetischer Diskurse beziehbar ist es insbesondere diversen Konzepten und Auslegungsoptionen von Zwischenräumen (Leerstellen, Spielräumen etc.) verbunden. Als ein aus Text- und Bildelementen komponiertes Künstlerbuch lotet es Spannungen und Affinitäten zwischen Text und Bild aus, als Produkt der Kooperation zwischen zwei Dichtern bildet es den Verlauf des künstlerischen Dialogs von Dencker und Fontana durch seinen Aufbau ab. Exemplarisch demonstriert es, wie das Buch zum Raum einer produktiven Auseinandersetzung zwischen den künstlerischen Sprachen der beiden Autoren wird – und reiht sich damit auf programmatische Weise zwischen andere Buchpublikationen Denckers, Fontanas und der „redfoxpress“ ein. ; The book No A <-> No Z, a collaboration between Klaus Peter Dencker and Giovanni Fontana, is characterized on several levels by a poetics of dialogue ‘between’ different instances, media, and aesthetic procedures: Relatable to an intersection of different aesthetic discourses, it is especially connected to diverse concepts and interpretive options of interstices (gaps, ‘play/wiggle room’, etc.). As an artist’s book composed of text and image elements, it explores tensions and affinities between text and image; as a product of cooperation between two poets, it maps the course of Dencker’s and Fontana’s artistic dialogue through its structure.     Graphische Literatur und visuelle Poesie können in mindestens zweifacher Hinsicht als Künste des Dazwischen verstanden werden: Zum einen kombinieren sie Bild und Text als ästhetische und semantische Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten, zum anderen reflektieren sie diese Zwischenstellung in intermedialen Verweisen und einer Affinität zu Themen zwischenräumlicher, marginal(isiert)er Erfahrung. Im mehr­dimensionalen Verhältnis von Schriftzeichen und Abbildung, von semantischer Festlegung und Öffnung, in der Überschreitung von Grenzziehungen und der Verortung zwischen unterschiedlichen semiotischen Systemen liegt ihre zugleich gattungsbildende und gattungsbrechende Spezifik. Das Dossier versammelt unter­schiedliche medienkomparatistische Forschungsperspektiven zu Ausdrucks­modi von Bild-Text-Welten in der Romania, um Merkmale und Potenziale des Dazwischen ins Zentrum zu rücken und diese zu konzeptualisieren. ; Graphic literature and visual poetry can be understood asarts of the in-betweenin at least two ways: on the one hand, they combine image and text as aesthetic and semantic means of expression; on the other, they reflect this in-between position via intermedial references and an affinity for themes of interspatial, marginal(ized) experience. Their genre-forming and genre-breaking specificitiescan be found in their engagements with multidimensional character/image relationships, with semantic determination and opening, with boundary transgressions, and with shifts between different semiotic systems. This dossier brings together media-comparative perspectives on different expressions of image-text relations as a way to identify and conceptualize characteristics and potentials of thein-between.

    "Der Zisterzienser Guillaume de Deguileville hat mit seiner in den Jahren 1330/31 entstandenen Traumallegorie ‚Le Pèlerinage de vie humaine‘, einer geistlichen ‚Pilgerschaft des menschlichen Lebens‘, nicht nur eine ambitionierte Umschreibung des berühmten ‚Rosenromans‘ vorgelegt, sondern – gut 25 Jahre später – mit seiner Überarbeitung dieses Textes, der sog. zweiten ‚Pèlerinage‘-Fassung, und zwei ‚Pèlerinage‘-Fortsetzungen zugleich eine ungewöhnliche Traditionskette vielfältigster Retextualisierungsprozesse initiiert: In Prosafassungen und Dramatisierungen, in Textkontamination und Agglutination und nicht zuletzt in zahlreichen Übersetzungen entsteht vom 15. bis ins 17. Jahrhundert in den westeuropäischen Literaturregionen ein reich ausdifferenziertes ‚Pèlerinage‘-Corpus, das die Mediävistik bislang noch kaum wahrgenommen hat. In seiner Kombination von Beiträgen der Romanistik, Germanistik, Niederlandistik, Anglistik und mittellateinischen Philologie erschliesst dieser Band unter einer komparatistischen Perspektive zentrale Bereiche dieses im westeuropäischen Spätmittelalter bis in die Frühe Neuzeit so erfolgreichen Textcorpus’ geistlicher Traumliteratur."
