Supposed to be Stolen, Out of the Grounds of John Scarlet of Leominster. Late on Monday Night the 21st, of August, 1786. A Bright Bay gelding, Rising four Years old, Of the Saddle breed, about 14 hands and 3 inches high, with a black Mane and Tail, has been lately Docked and the hair cut, a blaze down his Face, and one hind Leg white hall way up, is longish in his Fetlock Joints. a short Fore-Hand and a short Back, has lost the Hair off the point of his Hip and Stifles, and points of the Shoulders and off the Elbow near the Spur-Vain on the near Side. Also at the same time A Brown gelding, Rising three Years old, of the Saddle breed, strong made, low about the Shoulders, has a hook'd Face, his two hind legs white up to above the Fetlock Joints, with all his Tail on, which is very long and full of Hair, and high set on; about 14 hands high and not shod when Stolen. Whoever will give Information of the said Horses so that they may be had again, shall receive one Guinea Reward; and two Guineas on Conviction of the Offender or Offenders, John Scarlet -
