The series on Austrian Culture is intended to provide critical analyses, in English and/or German, of Austrian authors and their works, as well as cultural movements and their representatives from the Enlightenment Era to the present. Austria is defined as including those regions of the old Habsburg Empire where notable writings in the German language were produced such as Prague, Bohemia, Moravia, Bukovina, Galicia, and Transylvania. ACS offers a forum for the exploration of the multi-farious relationships between literature and diverse aspects of Austrian culture, such as the theater, the arts, music, philosophy, and architecture. ACS accepts original manuscripts of monographs and anthologies, as well as scholarly translations or editions of outstanding literary works.
