|Beschreibung||Memorial University of Newfoundland anticipates making a four-month teaching term appointment in the Faculty of Arts, subject to budgetary approval and to sufficient enrolments, for the Winter semester of 2015.
The Department of German and Russian will require a 4-month teaching term position in German. The minimum qualification for teaching term appointments is normally a completed doctoral degree in German language/literature and near-native fluency in English and German, though “all but dissertation” candidates will be considered. We are looking for a candidate with a broad background in German literature and culture, and, preferably, experience teaching undergraduate German in a North American context, as well as a commitment to working effectively with students. The teaching involves introductory German language courses.
