Titeletum – eJournal for Theatre and Media
BeschreibungBeginning in autumn 2013, the research site will publish the e-journal etum – eJournal for Theatre and Media ( The open-access journal allows for a fast and simple publication of texts. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed before publication.

etum will publish articles covering a vast range of theatrical and media related phenomena. The submitted papers can be about aesthetic, historical, practical, theoretical, methodological and pedagogical topics. Besides articles concentrating on the scholarly approach to a research question, papers addressing, researching and discussing an issue from a practical perspective are also of great interest. Submitted papers should among others deal with practical aspects, immanent special interests or interdisciplinary discourses.

etum welcomes articles or essays concerning research areas such as:

theatrical and media related phenomena
Events which in the broadest sense of the meaning are stagings of plays or productions of such, performances, films of all sorts and games

musical theatre, drama, dance, figure and puppet theatre, circus, music hall, vaudeville, video, games and comics

theoretical aspects

design and technique
costumes, masks, stage and set and technical aspects in general, architecture, video technology, cut

Everyone interested in the above aspects is very welcome to have her or his paper published. To have a paper accepted it is not important whether authors are either more practically or scholarly orientated, but rather how topical, relevant and sound their submitted articles are.
