BeschreibungGerman/Russian. The Department of Languages and Linguistics at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track position in German and Russian, effective 01 July 2008. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field and will have native or near-native fluency in German and Russian and a good working knowledge of English. We are seeking candidates with a strong research record and successful experience in teaching at the university level.

The department will consider applications from accomplished candidates with expertise in nineteenth and twentieth-century literature. Additional expertise in theory and/or film would be an advantage. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate language courses and specialized senior literature and culture courses.

Applicants should send a dossier, including a curriculum vitae, teaching evaluations, sample publications, and /or conference papers, and should also arrange to have three reference letters sent to Professor P.
