Consdering the MLA theme "Narrating Lives," we invite proposals on the production of biography and autobiography in literature and art. Narration strategies; genre; literary history; the new "Verfasserlexikon 1520-1620."

2) “Lives across Borders (800-1400)”

Papers on cultural mobility, legendary figures and places, monstrous and imaginary creatures, sacred and secular sites, pilgrimage, Far East and West, utopias, reliability of maps and travel narratives.

3) [Joint session with Comparative Studies in Renaissance and Baroque Literature]
