BeschreibungSylvia Naish Fellowships

Endowed by a generous bequest from the estate of Sylvia Naish, three Fellowships are available in 2007 for research into any area of German language and literature. The awards are designed to assist scholars in the early stages of their careers, provide a contribution to temporary living expenses in London, or to enable those in full-time employment to take unpaid leave to further their research.

Applications, by cv and covering letter, should reach Dr Godela Weiss-Sussex at the Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU, by 1 March 2007. Candidates should indicate which of the Fellowships they are applying for, and arrange for two academic references in support of their application to be sent direct to the Institute by the closing date.

The Fellowship may not be held concurrently with another fellowship or award.
